I wouldnt call it blackened death but it certainly has the bleak dark atmosphere akin to Akhlys or Watain while pummeling you with pure death metal and a touch of dissonance and doominess á la Morbid Angel..it really combines almost everything i love about metal and theres not a weak spot on here..their first album was good but this is stylistically much different and a vast improvement. Sludgy death metal brutality from the upper Midwest, featuring some of the most terrifying vocals and riffs imaginable—in a good way. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 20, 2022

Totally knocked me on my backside. Aggressive, fast, muscular Death Metal just as you'd expect from the Netherlands but with a great deal of mournful depth and melody that makes it very memorable from the off. Don't sleep on Burial Remains. poisonremedy
